We're Married, Part 3 (Pre and Ceremony)

Good morning, wedding day. I've been waiting for you since I was a little girl. I've been dreaming about the flowers, the colors, the chairs, the venue, the bridesmaids, the champange, the love, the people, the music...but most importantly, I've been dreaming about the man. I have the most amazing man. While there were a few lil' "things" on the day of the wedding, knowing that I was going to marry my best friend made everything seem so perfect.
The boys woke up and played a round in Brea...How cute!

Then they showed up at the venue and got all dressed up!

My sister Kim and I slept in one room together, and Jen, Jess and Chayna shared a room. Lucinda even hung out with us! :) My mom came early to have breakfast, and then help us load up...then we headed to the venue! Alberta and Erica met us there...with coffee, champagne, beers, OJ, soda, etc. My mom brought the food. It was an awesome set up. We had music, a hair stylist, a make up artist, food, drinks, friends - seemingly everything was perfect.

While there were a few issues...I don't want to delve too deeply into them. Let's just say I had a minor (er...major) melt down when I saw the flowers. Nothing was right. It KILLS me to say this because my florist is a DOLL and I love her, but FYI future brides...be specific...show pictures...communicate. While I did all of this, it still didn't turn out quite right...we had to do some major surgery on the arch piece...thank goodness Alberta had the red roses from the rehearsal dinner to use. My bridesmaids really came through too. Jen rushed to Michael's and got ribbon and a glue gun and did some creative surgery on the bouquets, wands...and a few corsages were limp, so we wrapped single stems and gave them to the Grandmothers. It was really very disappointing. HOWEVER...after I freaked out...things got better. I feel like if it wasn't the flowers, it probably would have been something else. And I will say that the florist really stepped up to the plate when she learned I was disappointed...That's a true professional.
Also, Eric didn't want to worry me, but apparently one of our groomsmen disappeared for a few...lol. Go figure. :) Anyway, it all worked out. It turned out lovely too. Not what I expected, but still...best day ever. :)
Here are some "DETAILS" shots...hope you love them. :)

Here are some pictures of our guests pre and during ceremony:

...And now it begins...Amamda sang "Miracle" by the Foo Fighters.

Jen and Jess sang "On A Night Like This" by Dave Barnes...so gorgeous.
