To get a pug, or not to get a pug...THAT is the (current) question...

We fell in love. Besides with each other, with these pug puppies. We've been weighing the pro's and con's...

PRO'S:
1.) Super cute.
2.) We're ready for a pup.
3.) Pretty inexpensive for pug breeds.
4.) Would be good to train while we're both in town and not full-time employed.
5.) Would be fun for me and or Eric to have if one had to leave town. (EX: He's going on a month and a half long tour.)
6.) We picked out a name...BANJO!

CON'S:
1.) Dogs can be expensive. (But, we wouldn't have to pay for the first shot or neutering...)
2.) They're boys, and I hope that he won't "spray." Haha. I've only ever had girl pups.
3.) What do we do with him while we're visiting CA - to do wedding plans and see family, etc? Travel with him?
4.) The kicker...Brett and Chayna would reconsider visiting us because Brett is deathly allergic to dogs...haha!

Opinions are welcome...

awh! they are so stinkin' cute:) BUT i've decided that their cuteness can't mask the responsibility that comes along with them! it's really hard to travel with them and they are a pain in the ass the first year or so. then again, the only time i've had one was with allergy boy so that may have increased the stress level. oh yeah, & boys hump... everything.

We decided to wait until after we're married...A) something to look forward to...and B) we'll be out of town so many times until then, we don't want to have to worry about how to take him - or who to leave him with...BANJO will have a home in April 2010.
