Re-Cap

Our trip home was FANTASTIC! Lots of travel, but totally worth it. We got a ton accomplished and saw (almost) everyone we wanted to. Sorry if we missed you; there was so much to do, in not a lot of free time...But we'll be back soon.

Quick (ish) Re-Cap...
First Stop: Phoenix. It was great. We spent the first day golfing, looking at rings, and spending time with my Mom, Dad and brother. Then Easter Sunday, we celebrated at church and at our Country Club for brunch, where my brother and Eric created the band/group "Buffet Destruction." Anyway, it was a great visit.

Next Up: Monday morning we drove 11 hours to Paso. We met his parents for dinner at McLintock's, and then Eric and I went to Arroyo Robles to taste wine, champagne and fudge. The home for dominoes and a movie. The following day, Alberta and I had a girls day of shopping and mani/pedi's, while the boys played golf. We had a celebratory party that evening for our engagement at the Kambestad's with Sarah, Loren, Kim, Woody, Cody, Noah, Lucinda, Aiden, Rick, Alberta, Eric and myself. Yummy taco's, and delicious wine. Then, more dominoes, and a good night. The next day was just 1/2 in Paso...but it was nice to say g'dbye in the afternoon.

Theeeen: We drove four hours (in traffic, so really more like 5 hours) to Santa Monica's El Cholo to meet with our friends Chayna, Brett, Guillermo, Christiana, Rosh, Bonnie, John Kelly and Gabe. It was a great time. After we headed to Brett and Chayna's where we proceeded to drink. A lot. Of Margaritas. It was a good time. Eric and Brett stayed up until 6 am playing Madden...just had to throw that in there.

I left in the early afternoon to meet with Nichols for lunch, then swung by and picked up Eric - and then we drove MORE to Corona to my parents 2nd home. We had dinner with them, and called it an early night.
The Next Day: FUN DAY! We woke up early and drove to the wedding venue! RANCHO LAS LOMAS was amazing.

We had a tour of the facility and it was pristine because they had a wedding later that afternoon. I can't wait!

Following the tour, we headed to the caterers office, where we had a beautifully presented tasting of our menu! If you're coming to the wedding, you're in for a TREAT! We went to Macy's and registered a little more, and then tasted cake with my Mom and Dad, and lil' nephew for Owen.

We relaxed at my sister's home, and hung out with family...
Saturday: Eric and I had hair cuts...much needed hair cuts. Then Eric, his Dad, my Dad and my brother played golf - and Alberta, my Mom and I went shopping, and looked for Mother of the Bride/Groom dresses. We had a BBQ at my sister's and bro-in-laws that evening, and headed back to Corona.
Sunday: ENGAGEMENT BRUNCH!

We had Grandma Jane, Aunt Pat, Alberta, Rick, Erica, John Mark, Kadence, Carter, Mom, Dad, Ryan, Kim, Brian, Savannah, Owen, Jennifer, Eric and Myself. It was a great, warm (haha) day! :) After brunch, the guys relaxed, while the girls went and looked for bridesmaid dresses and MOB/G dresses! It was so much fun!
Monday: We tasted more cake, and registered some more! Then drove 6 hours back to Phoenix.

Eric and Belle navigating. Super cute...

Tuesday: Relaxing, gorgeous day in Az, shopping, more registering, relaxing. :)
Wednesday: Golf at the Country Club, and then packed up to head back to TENNESSEE!

It was a WONDERFUL trip...Thank you for everyone who we got to see and celebrate with. We love you!

More to come...
