Road Trippin'
We've been super busy this month! In early July, Eric and I took an 11 hour drive to Waxahachie (close to Dallas), TX... The band that he is currently playing for shot a professional music video, and Eric got to play a teacher in one shot, and the drummer in the band for the dance scene. (I'll post the music video when it's released so you know what it's all about...) Here are some photos of Eric's acting debut! (Haha!)
A few days after we got back from Dallas, Eric and I took a road trip to Atlanta, Georgia. For his birthday in May, I gave him tickets to a Mets/Braves game! It was a super fun trip, but the Mets are...well, as Eric says "they're the best double A team there is." All of the players are on the DL, so it was rough. But it was a fun night: we went to the game, saw Greg Maddux's number get retired, a decent game, ate (not so healthy) delicious food, went to a local Atlanta liquor store, headed to our hotel with late night food, had some rum and cokes and watched Harry Potter while playing games! :) The next day, we tried to get tickets to the day game but it was sold out - so instead we went shopping, ate lunch, wandered around a Farmer's Market, saw the new Harry Potter, and then to an early dinner at Houston's while watching the Mets game - which they surprisingly WON! What??? Then headed home...couldn't do it without a 5 Hour Energy Drink!
Eric and I are still working our butts off with our trainer, who rocks. It's going really well! We've been keeping really busy, and having a lot of fun, because he leaves for 2 months in Mid-August.
Now we have visitors...My sister, her AMAZING daughter and my Mom came last week - and we've been having a blast! Savannah and Eric boneded and she is now rocking on the drum set! We went to the Zoo, downtown, Opry areas, yummy restaurants, played mini golf, went to Birmingham, AL for a wedding...and then Kim and Savannah left this morning - and my Mom and also DAD are coming back to our house to hang out for the week. Should be a good time... Then Eric's parents will get here on August 4 and stay through the 11. Then Eric takes off!!! It's a busy, crazy time...but we're having a blast!
